Fibromyalgia is still a mysterious disease. The pain and discomfort is usually in the muscles with no obvious cause. It can be hard to diagnose because its symptoms mimic other diseases. Fibromyalgia is closely linked to chronic fatigue syndrome as well as irritable bowel syndrome to name a few. This disease has many faces. Passionflower or Valerian: Passionflower and Valerian can help relax the nerves. You will want to take 300 to 500 mg in capsule form, of either Passionflower or Valerian, right before bed. This will even help you to sleep.

Probiotic Acidophilus: Probiotic Acidophilus is important for the digestive system and immunity. You'll want to take a product that has at least 4 billion active organisms daily.

Olive leaf: This is good if you have a chronic viral infection. You'll want to take 500 mg three times a day.

Grape seed extract: This can improve circulation and has anti-inflammatory effects upon the body. Take 100 mg two times a day.

Vitamin C: Good ol' vitamin C will help enhance your immune system and is also a great anti-inflammatory. Take 1,000 mg two times a day.

Ginkgo biloba: This can improve your memory and also your circulation. Take 60 to 120 mg twice daily.
