A Special Fibromyalgia Group is forming

Fibromyalgia Treatment Groups are now being formed and Jan Chambers, the president of the National Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) and Rae Gleason, executive director of the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) are eagerly awaiting the results of our first large scale study.
Five years ago, Tim Bartley, part of the Women’s Health Center within Herrick Medical Center, Tecumseh Michigan, put together the therapy program that effectively gets to the “root” and eliminates fibromyalgia symptoms.
Now, you can become an instrumental part of the group that helps turn the tide on the way chronic pain syndromes are treated. You do not need to live near Tecumseh, Michigan; all work can be done via the telephone.
For acceptance into the fibromyalgia group you must be diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a physician. We also need people who have also been diagnosed with Cervical Cord Compression (PC3) or Spinal Stenosis.
Most people become pain free within 1 to 4 over the phone therapy sessions; this is a no drugs fibro treatment There are no side effects. Applications for this project must be submitted before November 30, 2011.
Before and after you are pain free, we will track the results; gather testimonials, review backgrounds, and medications and lifestyle patterns.
Once the FM group results are in they will be submitted to Jan and also to Rae Gleason, executive director of the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA), for their review.
Become a part of this revolutionary study; take back your life while helping our mission to spread fibromyalgia pain relief.

Eastern philosophy has never had any doubts about the mind/body connection. It is not a matter of being “all in your head” or “all in your body”. It is a dance that requires two partners.
Contrast this philosophy to western thinking which treats physical ailments as “legitimate” and mental health issues as shameful, embarrassing, weak willed or worthy of blame. The reality is that most type II Diabetes, for example, is brought about by poor diets and lack of activity; yet few people seem to point the finger of blame. In order for type II Diabetics to control or even end their suffering, they must take recognize the contributing factors and take action.
In the treatment of fibromyalgia, sufferers need to recognize the mind/body connection. It is a fact that the physical suffering is very real and not “in the head”; there are ample studies that support the existence of over active nerve endings. However, the relationship also exists between the emotions, subconscious mind and the physical body. Decades of study substantiate that buried and ignored emotions can build up over time and lead to physical ills of all sorts; not just fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia symptoms are just one way for the body to manifest the workings of the subconscious mind. Studies support the notion that disturbances such as IBS, CFS, RLS and even cancers are triggered by prolonged buried emotionally stress.

The Fibromyalgia Diagnosis
0 CommentsFiled Under: Fibromyalgia Treatment
If you are like most people who suffer with the life altering pain of fibromyalgia, you are probably tired of being dismissed by the traditional medical community. There is no doubt that friends and families also do not completely understand you. The sad truth is that chronic pain takes a heavy toll on both individual sufferers as well as those who love them.
It is so infuriating to be incredibly misunderstood while at the same time trying to cope with everyday tasks; all enormous challenges due to the symptoms of fibromyalgia. It is hard to stay optimistic when the medical community would have you believe that the fibromyalgia diagnosis is either so grim or all in your head. And while fibromyalgia pain relief comes in many forms (e.g. special fibromyalgia diet), disappointment also comes when one alternative fibromyalgia treatment after the next fails to measure up to how it was hyped.
The persistent nature of chronic pain contributes to a tightening spiral of emotional stress and physical distress. Crankiness, depression, and other negative moods become a big part of the battle. These moods lead to further isolation and withdrawal. Dismissal by traditional medicine and escalating intolerance by loved ones becomes the salt in already deep wounds. It is no wonder that suspicion and mistrust start to play prominent roles with those who suffer fibromyalgia symptoms. Leading studies from the science community have documented the emotional trauma that accompanies a life with fibro.

Fibromyalgia has psychosomatic origins. The following text and video explains how emotions change us physically and chemically. First, some terminology:
Psychosomatic: Bodily ailment or symptom, caused by mental or emotional disturbance, in which psychological stresses adversely affect physiological (somatic) functioning to the point of distress. Psychosomatic disorders may include hypertension, respiratory ailments, gastrointestinal disturbances, migraine and tension headaches, sexual dysfunctions, and dermatitis.
Psychogenic: A set of symptoms or complaints whose origin likely lies within the complex interactions of the frontal lobes of the brain and the system in which the complaint manifests. These disorders can often result from mental or emotional conflict.
In most cases, a structural or anatomical abnormality has not been identified, as seen in an organic disease. The traditional duality that divided mind from body is no longer accepted by the mainstream of science.
Somatoform: Any of a group of psychological disorders (as body dysmorphic disorder or hypochondriasis) marked by physical complaints for which no organic or physiological explanation is found and for which there is a strong likelihood that psychological factors are involved.
Please Note: Everyone, every single person has psychosomatic disturbances; you cannot live life without collecting these. Emotions can create a change behavior and bodily reactions. It does not mean that you are mentally ill if you have fibromyalgia, in fact it simply proves that your mind is working as designed. It cannot be stressed enough. After conducting thousands of sessions, we understand that everyone is physically affected by emotions; e.g. the therapy being offered even helped to clear the own manifestations of my own emotions in my heart and sinuses. Rest assured; you are normal.

Pain
Pain is a sensation, in the same way that vision and hearing are; however, there is one additional component added: perception. Pain involves sensitivity to chemical changes in the tissues and then adds an interpretation of harm. The perception is real, whether or not harm has occurred or is occurring.
A great example of how perception changes our experience is the adrenal rush one gets from a roller coaster ride or from jumping out of an airplane. Some people see these activities as thrilling and others experience the same physical adrenal release as sheer terror. It is all in the perception.
Cognition is involved in the formulation of perception. There are emotional and behavioral responses to the cognitive and emotional aspects of pain.
The Brain
Your amazing brain has a lot going on. More than 100,000 chemical reactions go on in your brain every second. The brain also acts as a radio transmitter; it sends out measurable electrical wave signals.
Among the brain’s many jobs is to be your own chemist. The brain produces more than 50 identified active drugs. Some of these are associated with memory, others with intelligence, still others are sedatives. Endorphin is the brain’s painkiller, and it is 3 times more potent than morphine.
Scientific research over the last several decades has led to the revolutionary discovery of opiate-like chemicals in the body that associate with opiate specific receptors in the brain and spinal cord, including Serotonin, a hormone manufactured by your brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter, involved in the transmission of nerve impulses. It is manufactured in your body using the amino acid tryptophan. Release of serotonin or other drugs (depending on the type of nerve) from one nerve causes the next nerve to fire and continue the message along the “cable” of nerves…
Amino acids are the building blocks of the neurotransmitters. Some of these cause you to have better feeling of well-being. Serotonin is such a neurotransmitter that helps maintain a “happy feeling”. It helps keep moods under control by facilitating sleep, calming anxiety, and relieving depression. The brain also makes Dopamine, which makes people more talkative and excitable. It affects brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure and pain. All of these chemicals are natural chemicals that affect our bodily processes.
How Emotions Change Us Physically
Since we are bio-electro-chemical beings, our bodies are producing electrical and chemical reactions constantly. If the body stopped producing chemical reactions it would cease to live. Every emotion we experience creates a chemical reaction in our bodies. We can say that every emotion is a chemical reaction. Being a chemical reaction, a bio-chemical body is needed for that emotion to be fully experienced. All emotions originate within our physical embodiments as a result of chemical reactions produced as a result of sensory and mental input. (When we see a tornado coming right at us our bodies create a chemical reaction called fear which initiates action designed to protect ourselves from that threatening tornado. When we see someone provocatively posing nude a chemical reaction called sexual arousal is created within our embodiments which initiates action designed to propagate our species).
Excessive Demands
Excessive demands on our emotional resources leads to emotional difficulties or dysfunctional emotional responses. The conditions are that lead to overloading our emotions are anything that taxes our abilities to cope.
In today’s society, we often have unrealistic expectations. Unrealistic expectations of all sorts play a major role in placing excessive demands on our emotions. Unrealistic expectations come in many disguises; from the seemingly innocuous (e.g. trying to do too much in a given period of time) to the more overt (e.g. the perfectionist who is never satisfied).
Unrealistic expectations change our perceptions and place excessive demands on our coping skills. This leads to stress, depression, debility, headaches, migraines, anxiety, insomnia, pain, stomach complaints, diarrhea, and sexual problems.
Stress causes hormonal changes in the body; the adrenal glands produce adrenaline as a reaction to the stress you are experiencing. The adrenaline release is part of the body’s fight or flight response. The fight or flight response causes physical changes in the body such as increased heart rate, increased blood supply to the muscles, increased respiration and an increase in blood sugars.
In the case of stress, over time this increased adrenaline in the body weakens the immune system, making it more susceptible to all kinds of diseases. Stress which is ongoing can result in a wide range of physical and psychological conditions such as:
• Headaches
• Migraines
• Lethargy
• Digestive complaints
• Depression,
• Debility
• Insomnia
• Tension
• Heart palpitations
• Irritability
• Chronic fatigue
• Skin conditions
• Eating disorders
• Reduced concentration
• Stomach ulcers
• Heart failure
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Cardiovascular disease
• Weight gain or loss
• Addictions
• Arthritis and other inflammatory conditions
• Respiratory or lung disease
• Hypertension
• Anxiety
• Sexual dysfunction
It is estimated that between 50% and 66% of illnesses have stress as a main contributing factor. Researchers are in agreement that emotions include subjective feelings, physiological (body) responses, and expressive behavior. They all interact and impact each other.

The Insight behind Effective Fibro Therapy
Time heals all wounds…or so the saying goes… but only in the conscious mind. In the subconscious mind, time magnifies the negative emotions. Once you realize that your unconscious mind governs your body, you will begin to understand how it sets about completing its mission to protect you. Since the unconscious mind does not have verbal language centers, it alerts you to the problems of the unresolved emotions building up in the subconscious mind in some very creative ways.
For example, if the feeling of “sad” is located in the subconscious, the unconscious then produces a bodily response; e.g. tears. When the emotions become big enough in the subconscious, unconscious bodily reactions alert you that something is wrong. Fibromyalgia symptoms of pain and fatigue are the unconscious mind’s way of getting your attention. They are telling you that something is wrong and that there are some things that must be addressed.
At this point, individuals typically go to the doctor, tests are run, and the entire treatment is chemically based. Traditional western medicine only treats the physical component. It essentially puts a bandage on the problem and provides you with tools to manage the wound.
The good news that we have discovered through our fibro therapy sessions is that finding, eliminating and clearing the root feeling arrests the persistent message of the unconscious mind permanently. There is no longer a need for your subconscious mind to alert you that something is wrong since you have heard the message and dealt with it accordingly.
Thus the bottom line is that emotions and perceptions are to blame for fibromyalgia and many other psychosomatic disorders (FMRIC – Fibromyalgia, Migraines, RLS, IBS, CFS, Osteoarthritis, and Hypertension).
This means that the modern western world right now currently only treats fibromyalgia symptoms. Pharmaceuticals are the bandage over the symptoms; even the main focus of western research is primarily drug based.
What we do is different; we are detectives. We find the cause of the problem and remove it. When this removal is accomplished, the perceptions have changed and thus the chemical/physical conditions change. Pluck out the offending emotion and the pain will vanish permanently.

Theta State Therapy
The powerful fibromyalgia therapy we use to heal fibromyalgia is comprised of well recognized and approved techniques; it is a combination of NLP, psychology, and hypnotherapy techniques that we now call “Theta State Therapy.” It is a conversation between the facilitator and the client. It is based in the theta brain wave state, and uses relaxation, imagery, memory, emotion, and perception shift. The disorder is targeted in the subconscious mind and reframed.
Enhanced fibro therapy methods use:
- Affect Bridge
- Age Regression
- Anchoring
- Chair Therapy
- Direct Suggestion
- Dissociation
- Future Pacing
- NLP Swish Patterns
- NLP Timeline Therapy
- Parts Therapy
- Reframing
- Sessions run approximately 1 – 2 hrs.
- Fibromyalgia is eliminated within 1-4 sessions.
- Sessions are conducted in-office (or) via-telephone – effective either way, there is no difference.
